Birthday parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays, with weekdays available upon special request. The recommended participant age is six years and up.

What does a TMMF Birthday Party look like?

All parties will be hosted by one of our educators, who will help ensure your event is exciting, engaging and educational.

You’ll be greeted in the atrium and brought to your private room when you arrive. In your private room, guests can enjoy their cake, open presents, and safely leave their belongings while they enjoy our birthday programming. This area is also accessible for you to decorate.

Birthday parties begin with a tour of the museums. We are happy to focus on your child's interests (tanks, animals, peacekeeping, etc.); just let us know what they are! Guests can also don white curatorial gloves and engage with authentic historical artifacts. And what party is complete without learning the basics of marching drill? March along in uniform tunics from a range of eras and roles. This makes for an excellent photo opportunity.

Payment Information

Please make bookings at least two weeks before your preferred date.

Payments can be made via credit card, debit, cash or cheque (made out to "The Military Museums Foundation"). GST is included. Cancellations must be made one week in advance. To confirm your booking, we ask for a deposit of $260.00 made on the day you booked.

If you would like to pay via cash, cheque, or debit/credit, please let us know via email, and we can schedule a time for you to pay over the phone or in person. For e-transfers, please send to [email protected].

Birthday Parties at The Military Museums are provided by The Military Museums Foundation (TMMF), and all proceeds support education programs offered by TMMF.

Birthday party costs are as follows:

Initial deposit (based on first ten birthday guests): $260.00
Two required adults accompanying the birthday guests: free
Additional children: $26.00 each
Additional adults: $10.50 each

No fridge or stove is available in the private party room. Guests must provide their food and refreshments. If you plan to order food to the museums, please mention this in your booking request, as delivery drivers often need help finding us via Google!
